The SEVENTH  Annual Charity Walk 2008

Thank you very much to everyone who completed the Questionnaire. By normal   marketing measures, the response rate was absolutely fantastic, and there is no doubt that the overwhelming majority of people who responded want to continue with the   Charity Walk, along the canal, in May. So, another triumph for democracy!

The Seventh Annual Charity Walk will be on Sunday 18th May 2008

The SIXTH  Annual Charity Walk 2007

The Sixth Annual Charity Walk was held on Sunday 13th May 2007 along the bank of
the Leeds & Liverpool Canal from Heaton's Bridge Inn to Maghull. Three hundred and eighty six walkers bought Tickets to Walk, and around 90% of those starting the walk reached the end! As far as we can tell from the 237 people who gave us details, the average sponsorship was £98.12 per head, up from around £87.56 last year. This
means that, taking everything into account, we estimate around THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND pounds was raised for Charities and Good Causes locally, nationally, and around the world.

Everyone who took part has earned a really big vote of thanks from the dozens of clubs, charities, schools and other organisations which will benefit from your effort
