Annual Charity Walk Status [ ] Dragon Boat Race Status [ ]
Sandhills Merseyrail station is closed for refurbishment until July 2008. We understand that replacement bus services are available to Sandhills from neighbouring stations. Walkers leaving Maghull and wishing to transfer to the Northern Line for travel towards Southport should change instead at Moorfields.
The Northern Line between Rice Lane and Kirkby will be closed for engineering works until approximately 1230 on Sunday 18th May. A replacement bus service will be in operation.

Weather Forecast
We're not just being terribly British, concentrating on the weather, but it
can make a real difference to how you plan your day. So here is a

Southport, as we all know, doesn't have weather, so much as climate. Which is great for all of us who live locally.
And although you can see the Southport climate from Ormskirk, the weather there can be quite different. Ormskirk is the nearest point to the start of the Walk to have a weather report, so here it is!
