The Fourth Annual Charity Dragon Boat Races

Unfortunately the Fourth Annual Charity Boat Race did not take place. The financial effects of the recession meant that not enough teams were sponsored to cover the costs of staging the event and, as the purpose is to raise money for Charities and Good Causes, the members of Southport Rotary Club decided that the event could not be run at a loss. So, with great regret, it was cancelled for 2009.
