The Best of the Best!
The Annual Charity Dragon Boat Races comprise two rounds. The first round is where each team competes against the clock. For the second round, the eight fastest teams, and the eight slightly more sedate teams, each compete in a knockout competition; the first group are chasing the Cup, and the second group are out to win the Plate.
There are Winners and Runners Up in each group, so four team prizes and sets of individual medals are on offer. Competing for Cup or Plate takes the maximum effort, and everyone who takes part is to be congratulated.
