Welcome to the walk4charity 2012

The Canal & Countryside Walk -

organised by the Rotary Club of Southport, in partnership with Sefton Council for Voluntary Service and supported by Active Walks - Sefton.

Sunday 29th April 2012 - 10.00am to 12.30pm

For 2012, we have a new format.

The Walk starts and finishes at Lydiate Parish Hall with easy access by public transport, and plenty of parking if you are coming by car.

There is a choice of a five mile walk (8K) or an eight mile walk (13K) - approximately! The walk is partly along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, partly along the Cheshire Lines Path, and partly through the pleasant rolling countryside. Something there for everyone!

You will find here all the information you will need. Just read the directories below, and click to go to the right place.

We regret that due to the nature of the pathways, the Canal & Countryside walk4charity 2012 is not suitable for wheeled transport.

Sefton Council for Voluntary Service promotes and assists the activities of the Voluntary, Community and Faith Group sector in Sefton. Click HERE to visit their website.
